1) Kashi Vishwnath Temple Varanasi:

Kashi Vishwanath Temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva  situated on the western bank of holy River Ganga. Lord Shiva, who is known as Vishwanatha or Vishweshwarar meaning 'the ruler of the universe'.
Kashi Vishwanath Temple has a great significance in Hindu religion. It is believed that a visit to the temple followed by a dip in the holy Ganga is the ultimate way to attain  "Moksha" as Lord Shiva himself whispers the mantras of salvation into the ears of the people who die naturally at the Vishwanath Temple.  It is also widely believed that Varanasi is the point at which the first Jyotirlinga, the fiery pillar of light by which Shiva manifested his supremacy over other gods, broke through the earth’s crust and flared towards the heavens.

At Kashi Vishwanath temple five Aartis are performed every day Mangala Aarti ( 3 - 4 AM) , Mid Day Bhog Aarti ( 11:15 - 12:20 ), Sapta Rishi Aarti, Shringar/Bhog Aarti(21:00 to 22:15), Akhand Deep ( One day).

2) Meenakshi Temple Madurai
The temple complex is dedicated to Shiva, known here as Sundareshvara and his consort Meenakshi ( Parvati). The temple complex is within a high-walled enclosure, at the core of which are the two sanctums for meenakshi and Sundareshwara, surrounded by a number of smaller shrines and grand pillared halls. The goddess Meenakshi is the principal deity of the temple, unlike most Shiva temples in South India where Shiva is the principal deity.
The marriage of Meenakshi and Shiva was the biggest event, with all gods, goddesses and living beings gathered. Vishnu is believed to be the brother of Meenakshi. Vishnu gives her away to Shiva at the wedding.
